8-7-13 milwaukee man charged in fdl heroin overdose death

The second of two men charged in the drug overdose death of a Fond du lac man has made his initial Fond du lac Court appearance.  Fifty six year old Reginald Dorsey of Milwaukee is charged with first degree reckless homicide.  Fond du lac judge Gary Sharpe set cash bail at $20,000.  District Attorney Erick Toney was asking for $200,000 cash bail.  Dorsey is accused of supplying the heroin that led to the death of a Fond du lac man a little more than a year ago.  Meanwhile a preliminary hearing is scheduled for this Thursday for a second man charged in the case.  Forty nine year old Jeffrey Abitz of Lomira is charged with party to the crime of reckless homicide.  Abitz is accused of driving the car.
