8-30-13 governor walker visits wells expansion grand opening

Governor Scott Walker says the expansion of a Fond du Lac company shows that Wisconsin is headed in the right direction and the state’s economy is moving forward.  The governor was the keynote speaker at a grand opening celebration Thursday for Wells Vehicle Electronics.  "These aren't just 73 new jobs and retaining jobs.  These are exciting, dynamic new jobs out there,"  Walker told the crowd.  Walker says the expansion will allow Wells to continue to grow in Wisconsin. 

Company officials say the expansion will allow the company to retain more than 200 current employees and add more than 70 jobs over the next  three years.  The $7.1 million corporate headquarters facility is located on West Rolling Meadows Drive.
