8-26-13 lakeside park dredging and bike-pedestrian plan on park board agenda
The Lakeside Park dredging project and a city
bicycle-pedestrian plan are up for review at Monday night’s Park Board meeting. The city is working with local bicycle enthusiasts on a plan
to create a bike path that makes a complete loop around the the city. Meanwhile the board will be updated on planning and
preparation work this summer for a major dredging project at Lakeside
Park that’s scheduled to begin
late this fall. Fond du Lac Public Works
director Jordan Skiff says the lagoon will be deepened from just a few feet
deep…to closer to eight feet.
