The North Fond du Lac School Board has given preliminary
approval for the 2013 budget. Superintendent Aaron Sadoff says the budget includes a
slight decrease in the tax rate. "On an average we're looking at taxes on a $100,000 home may go down about $200," Sadoff told WFDL news. Sadoff says the district was able to cut a projected million
dollar budget deficit in half without cutting programs or staff. He says the hope is to eliminate that deficit in the next two years. The community will get a chance to review the budget at the
district’s annual meeting September 9th . Final board approval will come in October.
