8-21-13 four vehicle accident in fdl sends woman to the hospital

One person received non life threatening injuries in a four vehicle accident in Fond du lac Tuesday evening.    Rescue personnel were called to the scene on Highway 23 at Whispering Springs Drive shortly before 6pm Tuesday where investigators say a vehicle stopped to make a left hand turn onto Whispering Springs Drive was rear ended by another vehicle.  A westbound vehicle took evasive action but struck a fourth vehicle that was waiting to turn onto Highway 23.  The driver of the first vehicle that was struck, a 20 year old Plymouth woman, was transported to the hospital with what were described as non life threatening injuries.
