8-24-13 baldwin fighting proposed medicaid reimbursement cuts

MILWAUKEE (AP) — U. S. Senator Tammy Baldwin is leading a fight against proposed cuts to Medicare reimbursements for rural hospitals. The Wisconsin Democrat and 19 other senators sent a letter dated yesterday to Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus and Senator Orrin Hatch, the ranking members on the committee, protesting proposed cuts to critical access hospitals.
