8-27-13 bids for new waupun swimming pool come in more than $1 million under estimate

Bids have come in well under estimates for a new Waupun swimming pool.   City administrator Kyle Clark tells WFDL news the low bid for the pool at the Waupun County Park is more than a million dollars under the original estimate of $5.2 million.  Clark says if the common council accepts the low bid at their meeting Tuesday construction could begin September 9th.  The new pool would be open next summer.  Fond du Lac County is earmarking a million dollars for the project.
