8-30-13 dnr deer plan

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin wildlife officials have crafted a plan that would allow state residents to keep deer they find in the wild. The Department of Natural Resources' proposal comes after the agency was criticized for seizing a wild fawn named Giggles from an animal rehabilitation center and euthanizing it. Governor Scott Walker ordered his administration to make sure such a situation never happens again.
