8-21-13 immigration reform tour rolls into fdl

A statewide tour lobbying for immigration reform made a stop In Fond du lac Tuesday.  License to Dream: Strengthening Wisconsin through Humane Immigration Reform made a stop at the Fond du lac Department of Motor Vehicles.  The group included students, officials, community leaders and immigrant reform advocates.  August 15^th marked the one year anniversary of President Obama’s implementation of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.  The mandate allows illegal immigrants who arrived in the United States as children the opportunity to stay in the country and avoid deportation.
