8-29-13 waupun council approves low bid for new swimming pool

Construction is expected to begin September 9^th on a new outdoor swimming pool at the Waupun County Park.  The Waupun Common  Council has approved the low bid of $4.1 million for the project at their meeting this week.  Waupun city administrator Kyle Clark says the new pool is scheduled to open June first and is expected to draw people from Waupun and outside the community.  Clark says a lot of the construction work will take place this fall and winter.
