A new drug drop box will be available for Dodge County residents starting next week.  Sheriff Pat Ninmann says starting Wednesday  the Sheriff’s Office will have a drug drop box

available that will allow citizens the opportunity to deposit unused, unwanted, or expired prescription drugs.  The box will be checked frequently and the contents will be collected and prepared for disposal that is eco-friendly and in accordance with Federal and State laws.  Ninmann says the program not only helps to protect the environment, it can also deter the useage of prescription drugs by unintended parties - including young people facing peer pressure and new ways to "get high."   The Drop Box is located on the lower level of the Sheriff’s Office in Juneau, and is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
