8-7-13 lomira stolen vehicle

On August 6, 2013 at 1:43 AM, a deputy observed three suspicious vehicles drive into a business in the Village of Lomira.  Upon checking one of the plates, it was discovered that the license plate was entered as stolen.  With the deputies continued investigation it was determined that all three vehicles had recently been stolen.  Two of the vehicles were stolen from the City of Fond du Lac while the other was stolen from the City of Waukesha.   The drivers of the three vehicles were questioned and a confession was obtained.  The three (37 year old male, 22 year old male and a 36 year old female) are from Milwaukee.  The three individuals were taken into custody and charges of operating vehicle without owner’s consent and additional charges are being requested.  All three were transported to the Dodge County Detention Facility where they are currently being held. “Due to the active patrolling in local communities the Deputies were able to return stolen property to the rightful owners as well as arrest those who committed the crime” states Sheriff Ninmann.  “Deputies Oblinski, Borchardt and Wolfe should be commended for an outstanding job with this investigation.”
