8-11-13 Manitowoc Man Held on Driving Charges

MANITOWOC, Wis. (AP) — Manitowoc police have arrested a 31-year-old man who allegedly drove off as his girlfriend hung onto the windshield wipers trying to stop him. An HTR Media report on Friday said the 31-year-old girlfriend jumped on the van to keep him from leaving to deal drugs. The man is being held on tentative charges of first-degree recklessly endangering safety and disorderly conduct related to domestic violence.
