8-19-13 legislative fundraising

The head of a government watchdog group says the latest legislative fundraising  numbers show that money flows to power.   Wisconsin Democracy campaign  director Mike McCabe says through the first half of the year Republicans raised more than twice as much money as Democrats.  But McCabe says in 2009 in the first half of the year, Democrats outraised Republicans by a wide margin when Democrats were in power.  McCabe says the lawmakers are beholden to the special interests who help get them elected.
