A state DNR warden says a duck hunting accident in the
Horicon Marsh over the weekend is a reminder for hunters this fall to
remember the basic gun safety rules.
A hunter fortunately received only minor injuries when he was struck by fine pellets from a member of his own
hunting partner. DNR warden Todd Schaller says it’s a reminder for hunters to
make sure they know what is beyond their target. "We have incidents like this too often in Wisconsin," Schaller told AM 1170 WFDL's Between the Lines program.
