10-23-13 home sales up

September home sales in Wisconsin increased nearly 16 percent from a year ago and the 

median price rose nearly seven percent to $144,000.   Mike Theo with  the state realtors association tells AM 1170 WFDL's Between the Lines program the state is seeing steady growth even though mortgage rates have increased nearly a full percentage point in the past year.  Home sales in Fond du Lac County were up more than 30 percent.  Theo says he expects the strong home sales to continue in the final quarter of the year.
