10-23-13 chegwin principal receives national recognition

A Fond du Lac elementary school principal is receiving national recognition.  Chegwin Elementary principal Theresa Loehr is among 61  elementary and middle school principals  from across the nation and abroad who have been named National Distinguished Princpals by the National Association of Elementary School principals.   Loehr will be honored Friday at an awards banquet in

Washington, D.C.  U.S. Education Secretary of Education Arne Duncan will provide congratulatory remarks.  Earlier this year Loehr was named the Wisconsin ElementarySchool principal of the yearby the Association of Wisconsin School Administrators and Department of Public Instruction.  Loehr has served as principal at Chegwin for 13 years.
