10-30-13 waupun woman accused of striking developmentally disabled person pleads not guilty
A Waupun woman
accused of striking a developmentally disabled person in the face has pleaded
not guilty. Fifty four year old Mary Jo
Kearley entered the plea Monday in Dodge County Circuit Court. She is charged with intentionally abusing a
patient under her care. According to a
criminal complaint Kearley works at Bethesda Day Services and was eating
lunch when a female patient tried to grab her food. According to the complaint Kearley grabbed
the patient’s hand and slapped her in the face.
Kearley told police she just snapped.
