10-31-13 fdl car fire

Nobody  was injured in a fire that destroyed a car in Fond du Lac.  Firefighters were called to the scene on Brooke St. near Western Avenue shortly after 8am Thursday.  Fire Chief Pete O’Leary tells WFDL news the car was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived on the scene.  O’Leary says the car was parked just a couple feet away from an apartment complex and crews worked quickly to prevent the fire from spreading to the building.
