Nobody was injured when a semi truck tipped over Monday
afternoon on the new roundabout at Morris Street and Pioneer Road. Assistant police chief Steve Klein says the road was blocked for about two
and a half hours in order for crews to unload the semi and upright the
trailer. Klein says it appears the semi was southbound on Morris
entering the roundabout and as it rounded the curve the load shifted in the trailer causing it
to roll over on its side. Speed is a
possible factor. The company, Conway
Trucking, was cited for failure to secure a load.
