MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker says "blame can go around for everybody" when it comes to the federal government shutdown. Walker said Wednesday that the solution to solving the stalemate in Washington can be found in the states. He says a lot of governors and lawmakers in states wish that Republican and Democratic politicians in Washington would "act more like the states." Walker says Wisconsin is an example of how government can be effectively led. In Wisconsin, unlike Washington, Republicans have total control, making it much easier for Walker to advance his agenda. The federal government shutdown pits House Republicans who want to change the health care overhaul law and Senate Democrats and President Obama who are standing firm.
