10-9-13 mink ranches raided in wi and minnesota

GRAND MEADOW, Minn. (AP) — A Minnesota farm is now among mink ranches apparently raided by animal rights activists in a number of states. Owner Einar Myhre says hundreds of mink were released at his farm near Grand Meadow in the middle of the night early Monday or late Sunday. The Animal Liberation Frontline website claims other raids have recently been carried out in eight states, including Wisconsin, where about 2,000 mink were released from a farm in Calumet County.
