10-4-13 schreiner's celebrating 75th anniversary

An Iconic Fond du Lac restaurant is celebrating its 75^th anniversary this year.  Schreiner’s restaurant first opened its doors in 1938 and has been at its current location at the intersection of Highways 41 and 23 since 1973.  Schreiner’s owner Paul Cunningham says in addition to loyal local customers

Schreiners also enjoys visitors from outside the city who pull off the highway for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  "It sometimes can be as high as 70 percent,"  Cunningham said.  "In the summer its amazing, it (parking lot) looks like a used car lot from all 50 states outside."
