6-18-13 patriot tour

A Beaver Dam business has been selected to host the closing ceremonies of a national motorcycle tour that honors all military personnel and raises funds for families of wounded veterans.  The Nation Patriot’s Patriot Tour launched from Oconomowoc on May 25^th.  An American flaug is shepherded across the 48 contiguous states by motorcycle and will travel some 14 thousand miles,

escorted by nearly 100 thousand riders before returning to Wisconsin.  Money raised during the tour is distributed to families of wounded veterans across the United States.  Nation of Patriots founder Bill Sherer says the flag will end its journey at Hogz and Honeez Bar and Grill in Beaver Dam on August 31^st.  Hogz and Honeez co-owner Wade Fletcher says its exciting and an honor to be chosen as the final destination.  This is the fourth year of the Patriot Tour.  Sherer says this year’s ride is already outpacing last year’s ride in funds raised and participation.
