A missing elderly Fond du Lac County man has been found
safe. Fond du lac County Sheriff’s captain, Rick Olig, says on Wednesday afternoon the Sheriff’s Office was notified that 77 year old Sydney Knight was missing from his Martin Lane residence in the town of
Fond du lac and hadn’t been seen since Tuesday afternoon. Sheriff’s deputies searched the surrounding area and a town of
Fond du lac fireman eventually located Knight in a wooded area on the river bank off Prairie Road . The man was transported to the hospital for treatment.
