The North Fond du Lac School District is partnering with the
village to expand the community swimming pool. A special meeting of the school district electors was held Monday night to approve a
land lease to the village to expand and upgrade the pool. North Fond du Lac School Administrator Aaron Sadoff says
local volunteers have taken steps to try to increase pool attendance and
revenue. "A few years ago the pool was in dire straights ,if you will, and then a very great group of people from the community said the pool is not about making money...but what it does is it creates a quality of life," Sadoff said. "So this group got together and said hey, let's move forward and get this pool so that it can last so every year its not on the chopping block."
