6-29-13 door to door scam artists prey on flood victims
MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The state of Wisconsin is warning residents in flooded areas to be on the watch for scam artists working door to door. The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture is urging homeowners cleaning up from flooding to be wary about contractors going door-to-door this weekend promising quick help at a great price.
