OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) — An Oshkosh woman has reached a plea deal in a crash that killed a pedestrian last September. Forty-six-year-old Tina Trepanier pleaded no contest to homicide by negligent use of a motor vehicle and a second drunken driving offense. In exchange for her plea, two other charges were dismissed. According to the complaint, Trepanier was driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee at a high rate of speed on Sept. 7 when she struck 53-year-old Gina Micheln, who was walking in the road. Prosecutors say Trepanier had a blood alcohol level nearly twice the legal limit.
Sentencing is set for Aug. 12.
