6-14-13 fire causes minor damage to fdl home

An ember from a fire in a backyard fire pit may started a fire that destroyed a recycling bin, damaged  a garbage bin and caused minor damage to the siding of a Fond du lac home.    Fire Chief Pete O’Leary says the resident had extinguished the fire by the time firefighters arrived on the scene at  111 East Johnson Street.
