6-13-13 snapping turtle death

DELAVAN, Wis. (AP) — A reward of $1,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for beating a snapping turtle at a Wisconsin golf course. The Department of Natural Resources says the incident happened Monday morning at the Delbrook Golf Club in Delavan. The female turtle was found lying in a sand bunker and apparently had been beaten with a golf club.
