5-31-13 storm damage dodge county

Wind gusts estimated at 65-70 miles an hour tore the roof off a barn in Dodge County Thursday night.  Dodge County Emergency Management Director Joe Meagher says a severe thunderstorm packing strong winds caused damage at a farm near Highways 151 and G near Beaver Dam.  There were no reports of injuries.  Meagher told WFDL news there was an unconfirmed report by an untrained spotter of a possible tornado in Beaver Dam.  Meagher says the National Weather Service confirmed there was indication of slight rotation...but below levels required to issue a radar-detected tornado.
