Fond du Lac County officials are excited about the possibility of a bike lane on a portion pf Highway 67 in the southeast part of Fond du lac County.   Fond du lac County Planner Sam Tobias says the DOT proposal would create a five foot wide shoulder for bicycle traffic on 67 between Campbellsport and Dundee.  Fond du lac County Sheriff’s captain Rick Olig says from a law enforcement standpoint it would be a great safety feature.  Meanwhile Olig says another stretch of road that could use a bike lane is  Winnebago Drive in Fond du lac.  Tobias the project is scheduled for 2015.  It would be paid for entirely by the state.
