12-16-13 fdl area united way update

The Fond du Lac Area United Way is getting closer to its $740,000 goal.  United Way executive director Tina Potter says the fund drive has topped the $600,000 mark with a little more than two weeks left in the campaign.  We are at 85 percent of our goal, its about $627,000,"  Potter said.
Potter is encouraging residents to donate at least $104 to qualify for the Pacesetters drawing on January 17th.  "If a donor will donate a minimum of $104  and that can be a one time donation, or two dollars a week in a payroll donation or online donation, they are eligible to be in a drawing,"  Potter told AM 1170 WFDL's Between the Lines program.   "That drawing will include one $2000 winner,  one $1000 winner and three $500 winners."
