12-18-13 aviation pioneer to be honored
DAYTON, Ohio (AP) — A former manager of the Oshkosh, Wis., airport is among six people being inducted into the National Aviation Hall of Fame in Ohio next year. The late Sylvester "Steve" Wittman built aircraft, managed the airport and competed in his final air race at age 85. The induction is Oct. 4 in Dayton.
