MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Many of the nearly 100 Wisconsin school superintendents who answered a survey about the Common Core academic standards expressed their support for the curriculum, which they said are more rigorous than what was in place previously. A legislative committee released the responses Tuesday. The special panel created by Republicans to study the standards and is expected to release its recommendations related to the curriculum on Wednesday.
