5-9-14 fox lake man arrested in police sting

A not guilty plea for a Fox Lake man charged after trying to arrange a meeting with who he thought was an underage teenage boy for sex in an undercover police sting.  46 year old Robert Bistrick entered the plea Wednesday in Dodge County Circuit Court.  He’s charged with using a computer to facilitate a child sex crime.  Bistrick is accused of answering an ad online that was posted by a Beaver Dam Police officer posing as a 13 year old boy.  According to a criminal complaint, during a four day period in January, Bistrick and the officer exchanged text messages and emails that were sexual in nature, eventually arranging a meeting in Beaver Dam.  He was taken into custody near the meeting place.
