Area law enforcement agencies are stepping up enforcement of the mandatory seatbelt law this Memorial Day holiday weekend. The Click it or Ticket campaign runs through June first. Sheriff’s captain Rick Olig says last year in Fond du Lac
County one third of the drivers and passengers killed in a crash were not
buckled up. Olig says the coordinated effort to crackdown on unbuckled
motorists will also target aggressive and intoxicated drivers.
