Winnebago Lutheran Academy principal Dave Schroeder says WLA
is excited to be a part of the school voucher program. WLA is one of six new schools to be admitted into the
program next year. "We're very happy to be partnering with Fond du Lac High School, and St. Mary's Springs to give educational choices all over," Schroeder told WFDL news. Schroeder says most of the 74 applications are already
students at WLA. "Yes, and I would say our applications that we got, pretty much follow what the statewide average was. About 80 percent of those applications are already currently attending private schools in the Fond du Lac area," Schroeder said. Schroeder says 341
kids are enrolled at WLA and come from a wide area. St. Marys Springs received 80 new applications and will
serve as a state voucher school for a second year.
