5-23-14 waupun heroin summit

On the heels of a heroin summit in Fond du Lac and another in Dodge County…Waupun is hosting a heroin summit next month.  Police Chief Dale Heeringa says the summit will be held June 12^th at the Waupun High School.  Heeringa says heroin is impacting communities large and small across the state.  "Waupun is dealing with the heroin thing just like every other community,"  Heeringa told AM 1170 WFDL's Between the Lines program. Heeringa says a big concern for smaller communities like Waupun is lack of access to treatment for heroin addicts.
