5-27-14 fdl police department seeking grant for training equipment

The Fond du Lac Police Department wants to use a federal grant for new SWAT team and training equipment.  The $19,000 grant would be used to purchase a SWAT team door breaching tool, emergency scene lighting, firearms training equipment and CPR training equipment. A public hearing on the grant request will be held at this week’s city council meeting.
