5-30-14 court appearance rescheduled for former waupun police officer

A plea hearing has been rescheduled in Barron County for a former Waupun police officer arrested following a crime spree last summer.  Brad Young faces charges of auto theft and fleeing an officer in Barron County.  A plea hearing scheduled for this week was rescheduled to August 15^th.   Young is being held in the Green lake County Jail on burglary charges.  He is accused of breaking into grocery stores in Berlin and Markesan,

and a restaurant in  Green Lake.  Young resigned from the Waupun Police Department last fall.
