MADISON, Wis. (AP) — State media groups are helping to find photos for 230 Wisconsin soldiers who died during the Vietnam War. The photos will become part of a "Wall of Faces" at an education center near the Vietnam Wall in Washington D.C. The Wisconsin Newspaper Association and Wisconsin Public Broadcasting have helped find information for more than 1,000 Wisconsin soldiers since the effort began about 19 months ago. Mayville newspaper publisher Andrew Johnson started the state effort before taking it to the National Newspaper Association. Johnson's son David was killed while on duty in Afghanistan in 2012. Now the state press associations are using the list of names to track down photos for each of the more than 58,000 casualties from the war.
