Rain and cool temperatures are keeping many Wisconsin
farmers out of their fields. Fond du Lac County Crops and Soils agent Mike
Rankin says local farmers
haven’t been able to start planting. But Rankin says its too early to panic. "At this stage of the game its not time to ramp up your anxiety medication just yet," Rankin told AM 1170 WFDL's Between the Lines program. "We're at May first, we've certainly had years where we've had corn in the ground in April and we've had years where we've been delayed like this many times before."
