5-2-14 fdl apartment fire out

The Red Cross is assisting residents displaced by a Fond du Lac apartment fire.  Firefighters were called to the scene at 354 Seymour Street early this morning and  the fire  was fully extinguished about an hour later.

Fire prevention specialist Troy Haase says it appears that four units in the 12 unit apartment complex received extensive damaged.  Haase says nobody was injured.  The cause of the fire remains under investigation.  The state fire marshal has been called to investigate.
