7-8-13 suv versus house

A Fond du Lac man was injured in an alcohol-related SUV versus house accident over the weekend.  Rescue personnel were called to the scene near Breister Avenue and Marshall Avenue Saturday night.  Police say the vehicle was southbound on Breister Avenue and failed to negotiate a left turn at the intersection of Marshall Avenue.  The vehicle hopped the curb and struck the southeast corner of a house in the 500 block of  Marshall Avenue.  The collision caused significant damage to the foundation and a bedroom.  Two people were home at the time, but in a different area of the house and were not injured.  The 34 year old driver was arrested for OWI and transported to St. Agnes Hospital for treatment of head injuries.
