Coming off another successful Drug Take Back event this spring, the North Fond du Lac Police Department is offering its own Drug Drop Box.  Village police chief Darren Pautsch admits he is surprised at the amount of unused prescription medication that has been disposed of locally at the drug take back events over the past few years.  Pautsch says there is no question in his mind that the event has had a positive impact in reducing the amount of prescription medication getting into the wrong hands.  The Drug Drop Off box is located at the North Fond du lac police department and will be  available to local residents during normal business houors Monday through Friday.  A 24-7 drug drop off box is also located in the Fond du Lac police department parking lot.
