A Fond du Lac man is being held in jail on a probation
violation following a foot chase with police.
Assistant Police Chief Steve Klein says officers were called to the Northway Motel Wednesday. Klein says when officers arrived the suspect took off on foot. Klein says the 28 year old man tried to jump a fence near
Highway 41…apparently with the intent of trying to elude police by running across
the highway, but was taken into custody. The suspect was transported to the Fond du lac County Jail.
