A national award-winning maker of goat’s milk cheese, has opened
a new 35,000-square-foot farmstead dairy plant, retail store and café.
LaClare
Farms , Owned by the Larry and Clara Hedrich family of Chilton are opening a
new facility. The facility includes a milking parlor with housing for 600
milking goats. It is located near the northeast Fond du Lac County community of
Pipe at County Trunk HH.
The LaClare goat dairy is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven
days a week. Visitors can see the goat-milking process at 4:30 p.m. each day.
The entire facility, including the milking parlor, dairy processing plant and
cheese aging rooms, is visible through public viewing windows.
