The city of Fond du Lac is assisting in the renovation
project at the downtown Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts. A public hearing was held at Wednesday night’s council meeting on the issuance of up
to four and a half million dollars in industrial revenue bonds for
the project. Community Development Director Wayne Rollin says the project is already having a positive economic impact. "There have been investments made based on the expectation that the Thelma will be there and will expand and continue to be a presence in the community," Rollin told WFDL news. The Fond du lac city council is expected to give final
approval to the Issuance of the IRBs at a future meeting.
