7-23-13 back to school supply drive

A consortium of churches and local agencies are working to provide needed supplies forat-risk  students as they go back to school this fall.  A back to school supply drive is underway  in Fond du lac with several drop off sites around the community to help students whose parents or guardians are under employed, unemployed or economically disadvantaged In some way.  Fond du Lac Salvation Army social services director Ron Jacobson says registration is underway for the August 24^th distribution.  Three Fill the Bus campaigns are being held the next three weekends…this Saturday from 9am-3pm at Walmart, Friday August 2^nd at Walgreens on Pioneer Road and Friday August 9^th at Shopko.  Families that qualify will be assigned a specific shopping time on Saturday

August 24^th at the Fond du Lac Boys and Girls Club.
